In reply to Miranda. Hi Miranda! If you omit the beans, there won't be much of a chili left, lol! Is there a specific bean you like better and could replace it with? I think milk would work nicely as a sub for the whipping cream. I've never tried using greek yogurt but it might work as well. Hope this helps!

This reminds me of a soup I had in grad school and have been wanting to make ever since: many years! I’d like to try this but want to make it in the crock pot — any modifications needed? Thanks!

Love this recipe, Jen! I didn’t realize we both had two year olds, but I have it easy because I don’t also have a 3 year old! Holy moly, I don’t know how you do it! I’m hoping potty training is in the near future for us, but my little one doesn’t seem too interested yet. Congrats on having one less child in diapers 🙂
